About the artist

"Perfection is being imperfect"

Sandra was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1978. She moved to Doolin, on the West coast of Ireland in 2015 after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and realizing she needed to make a change in her life.

She worked in the hospitality sector for a number of years until her illness forced her to stop and rethink again about her future.

Art had always been her safety ring and her passion, so she used it to put her pieces together and start a new career as a professional artist after finishing her art studies in the Ennistymon Art School.

Sandra created Morrigan Workshop Art in 2020. She has been since then exploring and studying the beauty in nature and the different cycles and changes of life using different media.

Her art reflects the beauty of the change, from the newly born to the decay, from the 'happy days' to the 'down days'. Her art is sincere, like life sometimes is dark, sometimes is sweet, but always trying to inspire other people to find the beauty in their

everyday lives.
